ABOUT FESTİVAL

The 22nd International Istanbul Culinary Days, organized this year by the Turkish Chefs and Cooks Federation (TAŞFED), will take place from December 17-20, 2025, at the Bahçelievler Congress Center. As Turkey’s largest gastronomic competition and festival, this event has been held for 21 years. In collaboration with the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), the event hosts the global culinary world in our country. Strong interest is expected again this year, as in previous years, from the federations and associations of leading countries in the field of gastronomy worldwide. The festival, which takes significant steps in integrating Turkish cuisine with world cuisine, will bring global flavors to Istanbul. With its successful past events, the International Istanbul Culinary Days, which received the ‘Continental’ title from the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), provides international competition opportunities for our country’s students and young chefs.

Chefs from different cultures, who have the opportunity to discover Turkey, are hosted in colorful organizations. Bringing important values ​​to our country, the International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival serves as a bridge in introducing new chefs to Turkey and the world, as well as promoting Turkish Cuisine to the world.

Turkish and International chefs will compete in more than 70 categories to win medals. Turkish Cooks and Cooks Federation has been aiming to contribute to the gastronomic tourism economy with these big organizations for years. The Federation also completes the deficiency in the education sector by carrying out joint projects with universities and new institutions in developing certificate programs.

The International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival also provides a huge platform for the growing gastronomy brands in Turkey and internationally to promote them and increase their awareness by providing special areas in the festival area.
