The 21st of the International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival, organized 20 times by the Cooks and Cooks Federation of Turkey (COCFED), will be held at Şile – Cultural Center on 18-21 December 2024. A joint organization is organized with the World Cooks Association (WACS). The whole world comes to our country. As in previous years, we expect great interest in this event, which is organized with the participation of leading federations and associations from all over the world. Bringing Turkish and World Cuisine together, the festival brings different flavors of the world to Istanbul. The International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival, which won the ‘Continental’ title from WACS with a successful event in the past years, offers a competition platform for our country’s student and young chefs.
Chefs from different cultures, who have the opportunity to discover Turkey, are hosted in colorful organizations. Bringing important values to our country, the International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival serves as a bridge in introducing new chefs to Turkey and the world, as well as promoting Turkish Cuisine to the world.
Turkish and International chefs will compete in more than 70 categories to win medals. Turkish Cooks and Cooks Federation has been aiming to contribute to the gastronomic tourism economy with these big organizations for years. The Federation also completes the deficiency in the education sector by carrying out joint projects with universities and new institutions in developing certificate programs.
The International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival also provides a huge platform for the growing gastronomy brands in Turkey and internationally to promote them and increase their awareness by providing special areas in the festival area.
